Any object or player contacting an out-of-bounds area is out-of-bounds. An airborne player whose last ground contact was with an out-of-bounds area is out-of-bounds.

Clarification on some rules: 1. CHECK-IN vs. SELF-CHECK
Offensive Self-check: Whenever play is to be restarted with a check, but no marker is near enough to touch the disc in the thrower's hand, play is re-started using a self-check. To restart play using an offensive self-check, The defense must acknowledge readiness. The thrower establishes a pivot at the appropriate spot on the field, touches the disc to the ground, and announces "IN PLAY".

And not very sportsperson-like within our own group.

re the equal vs stacked team debate: Note that Pot-luck home page says this is a single pool tournie, wouldn't be sportsperson- like to contradict our ownselves would it?!

How about some discussion regarding the two Nelson teams for the tournament: 2 even teams, or an A-team and a B-team?

Chris Peters is out..but he still wants to organize field food for the tournament (a very big job) so I think Nelson Ultimate should buy his Dinner and beer at the party.
Get well soon Chris!!!

Looks like we are going to have 2 Nelson teams. 2 girls from Calgary just signed up and I think there's more if we want them. Totals: 10 full time 2 part time girls. (I think 2 more would be good).
I need to start collecting fees (50$ per person) Make cheques out to Nelson Ultimate or cash is good too.

For those who were there, that awful attemp at a layout this afternoon resulted in a seperated shoulder and torn ligaments.(no wonder it hurt so much!) Catch me at the beach over the next six weeks.
